Kahawatte Plantations
One of Sri Lanka’s leading plantation management companies. Kahawatte Plantations (KWPL) is another associate company within the MJF Group that owns an extent of 12,620 hectares of tea and other crops. For the last 5 years, Kahawatte Plantations (KWPL) has topped the Colombo tea auction averages. Along with two other joint venture plantation companies, Dilmah accounts for 25 million kilograms of tea & 2.5 million kilograms of rubber annually. Kahawatte Plantations holds the single largest Ceylon Cinnamon plantation in Sri Lanka.

MJF Exports (Pvt.) Ltd is a subsidiary of MJF Group, which commenced operations in 1974, and is a well-established tea exporter with an excellent track record for trading in expertly blended and original garden teas for shipment in bulk form to blenders and packers worldwide, including America, Europe, Far East & the CIS. Reduction in demand for quality bulk tea and intense price competition in the bulk tea market has led to MJF Exports (Pvt.) Ltd focusing on providing an efficient and reliable service to bulk tea importers around the world who prefer to work with superior quality teas.
MJF Beverages
Dilmah Elixir of Ceylon is made from pure Ceylon single estate tea, minimally processed to preserve the natural goodness of tea. Made from a patented process developed by Dilmah with more than 5 years of R&D, the MJF Beverages facility in the company’s Rilhena Tea Garden produces tea concentrate from freshly harvested tea leaves. The method is substantially superior to that which is used by all other Concentrate Tea brands.
Forbes & Walker
The largest tea and commodity broker in Sri Lanka, providing a quality service to growers of tea, rubber, coconut and spices since 1881. The Forbes & Walker Group is primarily a tea broker, accounting for around 25% of all tea offered for auction at the weekly Colombo auctions. The current Business of the Forbes & Walker Group is around Rs. 10 billion, mostly from tea.

A company that exports a variety of ethically processed Sri Lankan spices in attractive packaging The Ceylon Spice Co. supports the spice industry with a continuous sterilization process that allows exporters to easily value-add and reach a larger customer base. The company currently uses French steam sterilization technology and Swiss-made equipment to provide this service which is expected to be expanded three-fold due to its growing demand.
